Tears for Fears - "Advice for the Young at Heart"

This is a considerably lesser-known song by Tears for Fears, but it's not bad. It has much less synth in it than earlier songs and feels a lot more like 1990s mainstream music.

Tears for Fears - "Pale Shelter"

So, you said you wanted some 80s New Wave today? Actually, you probably didn't say anything, but I'm going to pretend you did. Here's some Tears for Fears.

Tears for Fears - "Mad World"

Some Tears for Fears for your Friday morning...

Tears for Fears - "Shout" (live)

As far as I'm concerned, you cannot have a serious discussion about 80s New Wave without the inclusion of this song. If I had to make a top ten list of most iconic 80s New Wave songs, this would easily be on it. Enjoy the Tears for Fears masterpiece.

Tears for Fears - "Everybody Wants to Rule the World"

This Tears for Fears gem is not only my favorite by the band, but is also fitting for the time period. There are a number of lines in here that some people have interpreted as imagery showing fear of the possibilities of the Cold War. It's no surprise this is a song of choice for the video game, World in Conflict.
