"We Are Electric" is probably my second-favorite song of Fischerspooner's, only to "Emerge", the latter of which is likely the only song of theirs that a lot of non-Fischerspooner fans know even exists. The band is using florescent lights (including ones on a hat that resembles a lamp) to signify the imagery of how humans are "electric". Unsurprisingly, Fischerspooner doesn't disappoint in regard to visually stimulating avant-garde performance. Lyrically, simply put, the song seems to be about how people are more than for what they give themselves credit.
If you're a Fischerspooner fan, this is probably old hat to you, but I posted this more for the casuals who probably only know about "Emerge." For those people, I just wanted to show that there was more to this band than the one song.
