The final cut of the "Doppelganger" video was made by chopping up the Badd-bagg mix and Goodnice mix and sewing pieces of each together. Each of those videos have novelty of their own, so I totally recommend you watch them, too. But in regard to the song, it tells the story of how vexed the main character is by the fact an ex seems to have found a new girlfriend who is seemingly almost exactly like her. This song is more serious than some of Freezepop's other work, which is saying quite a bit, as this song is kind of light and airy, itself.
Freezepop, in general, is sit-back-and-relax music. Although you certainly can move to a number of the songs, I don't think it's really meant for that. That being said, Freezepop shows can get seriously crazy, but that's because a lot of what makes the band special is in the visual spectacles they make. For instance, if you look at their performance of "Super-sprøde" from 2005, you can see that Freezepop cares very much about having a nutty holistic experience for their fans. So, all in all, if you're into this kind of music, you'll probably like Freezepop. If you're not, at least check them out. You might find yourself enjoying them, purely due to the change of pace it gives you. Also, they're based in Boston, so if you have a compulsion for supporting your local scene, it's certainly worth taking a look.
